Yoga
This special class combines the advantages of Qi Gong for those who are less
active and Yoga for those more able to engage in physical activity starting
out with Qi Gong. They allow the body to warm up in preparation for yoga
exercises. Attention is paid to breathing and centering the mind and body.
These classes are excellent for both beginner and regular ongoing
practitioners of yoga and Qi Gong as they offer something for everyone. They
are simple yet subtle, in that the practitioner or student one can spend a
life time refining them.
Qi Gong is considered a form of meditation in motion repetition of simple
movements allows the mid to follow the movements energetically as they
unfold. These simple movements all the student to learn how to use the body
efficiently with the least amount of wear and tear whether at work or at
play.
Yoga – is considered to be a way to joining the mind and the body. Yoga
places the body in postures that require a concentration on body alignments
and breathing. These postures performed on the yoga mat. They allow the body
to be stretched and strengthened safely and under the watchful eye of the
teacher.
Who needs Yoga and Qi gong classes?

attending these classes, they promote body awareness, stretching and
strengthening as well as a deep sense of relaxation. By getting into one's
body and strengthening ones resistance t diseases, one is more likely to
stay healthy and happy.
Joseph Starr has been fortunate to study and teach Yoga and Qi Gong for over
25 years. He started as a professional dancer and he continues hi study of
energy and movement through his practice of acupuncture and massage therapy.
Classes may be followed up to maximize the value through treatments with Mr.
Starr.
