Acupuncture ProgramsOur Programs thoroughly cover all aspects of acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine. Students are introduced to Western Medicine, modern diagnosing, various testing methods and an array of complementary therapies. Students graduate with the competence and confidence to succeed in this rewarding practice. CCATCM strives for excellence in all aspects of these Programs. The Programs emphasize the need for depth and diversity of clinical experience. In addition to the required practical courses, the student experience is enhanced through participation in two of the largest Natural Medicine Clinics in Atlantic Canada. The Programs also provide students a close association with Traditional Chinese Medicine hospitals and universities in China and may allow them to complete a portion of their internship/clinical practicum in China in their final year, and pursue masters and Phd degrees after graduation. Our curriculum, faculty, and staff are the best in the field. The enriched curriculum focuses on hands-on practical and clinical skills, helping to bring the principles and theories of acupuncture and TCM to life. Our faculty is unmatched in Atlantic Canada, with several of our Doctors of Acupuncture and Doctors of Traditional Chinese Medicine holding masters and PhD degrees from prestigious Chinese universities. We strive to create a supportive and engaging atmosphere for our
students that will transform them into professional, qualified practitioners. |
