Dr. Diana Tong Li Dr. Ac., Dr. TCM, ND, Ph. D, MD (China)
Dr. Diana Tong Li entered medical university at the age of 16. Dr. Li graduated from Gui Yang Traditional Chinese Medicine University with her Medical Doctor’s Degree in 1985. From 1987 to1989, Dr. Li studied in Guangzhou Chinese Medicine University for her Master’s Degree of Medicine in TCM. She also received her Masters of Auricular Medicine. She graduated from the Canadian College of Naturotherapists. Dr. Li earned her Ph.D. Degree of Medicine in Acupuncture & TCM from Heilongjiang University of Chinese Medicine.
Dr. Li often attends the Acupuncture &TCM international conferences to present her research papers including, “ Acupuncture Treating Infertility” published in The Third International Congress of Traditional Medicine, Toronto, 2006; “ Acupuncture Treatment for Migraine Headaches; Ear Acupuncture for Weight Loss” - both articles published in the Third World Conference on Acupuncture for the World Federation of Acupuncture-Moxibustion Societies, Tokyo, Japan, 1993;“Acupuncture Treatment of Fibromyalgia” published in the Second World Acupuncture Conference W.F.A.S., Paris, France, 1990.
By 2011, Dr. Li had been studying, practicing, teaching and researching acupuncture and TCM in China and Canada, in hospitals, clinics and colleges for over 30 years. Dr. Li has been the president of the Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture Association of Canada’s NS chapter and president of the Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine Association of Nova Scotia. Dr. Li is a CCNM and CCATCM founder and master teacher.

Dr. Franklyn Chen Dr. Ac., Dr. TCM, ND, M. Ed., Ph. D, M.D. (China)
Traditional Chinese Medicine has been practiced by four generations of Dr. Chen’s family. He started learning TCM from his grandfather as a child.
Dr. Chen was the president of Canadian College of Natural Medicine from 1998 to 2003. Dr. Chen often presents his research papers at international conferences. He presented on “Natural Therapy to Treat Chronic Fatigue Syndrome” at the 4th World Conference on Acupuncture in New York in 1996. Dr. Chen spoke on the ATV News on treating environmental illness using acupuncture in 1994. Dr. Chen is the first doctor in the world to present a research paper on “A Clinical Study on TCM and Acupuncture on the Treatment of Multiple Chemical Sensitivity” (France in 2009). Dr. Chen has a medical degree in TCM. He earned a Master’s Degree in Adult Education from UNB. Dr. Chen graduated from the Canadian College of Naturotherapists. He has his Masters of Auricular Medicine. Dr. Chen obtained his Ph.D. Degree of Medicine in Acupuncture & TCM from Heilongjiang University of Chinese Medicine, studying under Dr. Zhang Jin, the president and founder of the International Association of Acupuncture and Moxibustion Manipulative Techniques.

Dr. Chen has been the president of the Acupuncture and Naturopathy Association of NS, and vice president of the Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine Association of Nova Scotia. Joseph Starr Dip. Dr. Ac., Dip. Dr.TCM, Dip. Journalism, RMT
Joseph Starr graduated from the Ryerson School of Journalism, cum laude, in 1972. He went on to a career as a professional dancer/ choreographer before entering the healing arts. He studied yoga and bodywork at the Kripalu Institute in 1989. He went on to train in massage therapy at the Reese Institute, then trained in Trager Bodywork, Hypnotherapy, Jin Shin Do and Light Touch ( Upledger Institute). In 2000, he entered the Acupressure Massage Therapy program at the Canadian College of Natural Medicine, and graduated as an Acupressure Massage Therapist in 2004. In 2005 he started his 4-year Diploma of Doctor of Traditional Chinese Medicine program. In June 2009 Joseph obtained his Diploma of Doctor of Traditional Chinese Medicine, which included a three month internship in China.
Joseph has practiced and taught many aspects of the healing arts including massage therapy, yoga, Qi Gong and reflexology. He has been a director of the Acupuncture and Naturopathy Association of Nova Scotia, and is a founder of the Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine Association of Nova Scotia. He is a CCNM and CCATCM founder and master teacher.

Calvin Crichton B.A., M. Div, Dip. Dr. Ac., Dip. Dr.TCM, M. TJM (equivalency)
Calvin Crichton began his healing arts training at the age 19 in the basics of Japanese shiatsu and Qi Gong. By age 29 he had finished a diploma in fitness and nutrition, a 1-year comprehensive course in TCM theory and courses in Emotional Freedom Therapy and Foot Reflexology. In 2000, he entered the Acupressure Massage Therapy program at the Canadian College of Natural Medicine in Bedford, Nova Scotia. He graduated as an Acupressure Massage Therapist in 2004. In 2005, he entered the college again to take part in the 4-year Diploma of Doctor of Traditional Chinese Medicine program. In 2008, he received a Diploma of Acupuncture from the Ontario College of Traditional Chinese Medicine. In June 2009 Calvin obtained his Diploma of Doctor of Traditional Chinese Medicine. Later that year Calvin started formal advanced training in Japanese medicine and in 2010 Calvin became the first Canadian to ever receive a Master degree equivalency in the ancient Japanese healing system of Isshinho. He is now working on a PH.D. equivalency.
He has been a director of the Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine Association of Nova Scotia. He is a senior instructor at CCATCM.

Dr. Qing Zhang Dr.TCM, MD (China)
Dr. Zhang received her Chinese Medicine degree from Henan University of Traditional Chinese Medicine in 1988. Upon graduating she specialized in the Chinese Materia Medica as a drug quality inspector for the government of China. Dr. Zhang conducted research into anti-cancer and immunity-boosting drugs and plants in China, then in the United States at Rutgers University.
She has been a director of the Acupuncture and Naturopathy Association of Nova Scotia, and treasurer of the Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine Association of Nova Scotia. Dr. Zhang is a senior instructor at CCATCM, and director of the herbology department.

Dr. Feng Jia Dr. Ac., Dr.TCM, MD (China)
Dr. Jia graduated from Shandong Traditional Medicine College in 1992, and graduated from Jining Western Medicine College in 1994.
Dr. Jia has practiced Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine in Canada for over 7 years. Dr. Jia is an instructor at CCATCM.
Dr. Anjli Joshi B. Sc., N.D.
Dr. Anjli Joshi is a graduate of the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine and a graduate of the University College of Cape Breton with a Bachelor of Science (Biology).
Dr. Joshi has been an instructor with the Ontario College of Homeopathic Medicine, as well as a tutor and teaching assistant. Dr. Joshi is an instructor at CCATCM.
Dr. Roy A. Fox M.D, M.E.S, F.R.C.P.C, F.R.C.P,
Dr. Fox is the director of the Nova Scotia Environmental Health Clinic, Holistic Health Assessments and Treatments.
Dr. Fox trained in internal medicine with further training in liver disease, gastroenterology, geriatrics, immunology and environmental medicine. He is also trained in cranio-sacral therapy, process acupressure and Reiki. He is a certified trainer of the Heart Math Institute. He practices a holistic, heart-centered healing approach. Dr. Fox is a guest speaker at CCATCM.
Dr. Li-chun Huang Dr. TCM, MD (China)
Dr. Huang received her O.M.D. from P.L.A Military Medical Institute, China. She worked as the Chief Director of Acupuncture Department at 301 Military Hospital, Beijing, China. Dr. Huang is the founder of Auricular Medicine. She has conducted wide research on auricular medicine and has published many papers and books on the subject. She received the Lifetime Achievement Award at the International Conference of Auricular Therapy and Auricular Medicine because of her outstanding research work. Dr. Huang has been a clinician for more than 40 years and has treated more than 250,000 patients world-wide. Dr. Huang trains doctors in the U.S and around the world in auricular medicine. Dr. Huang is a guest teacher at CCATCM.
Dr. Ganglin Yin Dr. Ac., Dr.TCM, MD (China)
Dr. Ganglin Yin has an MD in Traditional Chinese Medicine (HUTCM) and a Masters degree in TCM from Hunan University of China (1985 to 1992). From 1993 to 1996, he was the chief doctor in the Chinese Acupuncture-Massage Specialist Group and clinic of HUTCM in Russia. From 1997 to 1999, he was professor and academic dean of the International College of Traditional Chinese Medicine of Victoria, Canada. In 2000, he was professor and faculty dean of the Atlantic Institute of Oriental Medicine, in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida.
Dr. Yin is the principle of the Oshio College of Acupuncture and Herbology in Victoria, BC. He has been a TCM doctor for over 30 years. He is a major contributor to the founding of CCATCM.
Dr. Shengli Wang N.D., Dr. Ac., M. Sc.,M.D. (China)
Dr.Wang received her medical doctoratefrom Peking Union Medical College in Beijing. She practiced internal medicine at Peking Union Medical hospital for 3 years before receiving specialized post secondary training in hematology in 1979. She worked for two years as an allergist before coming to Canada on a post doctoral fellowship. In Canada she studied with the Faculty of Medicine at Memorial University, and lectured on alternative medicine. In 1993, Dr. Wang received a M.Sc. of Immunology from Memorial University.
Dr. Wang is a director of the Acupuncture and Naturopathy Association of NS.
Dr. Wang is an instructor at CCATCM.
Dr. Bin Jiang Wu Dr. Ac., Dr. TCM, ND, Ph. D, MD (China)
Dr. Wu obtained his Ph D. Degree in Chinese & Western Integrated Medicine from Hebei Medical University (Shijiazhuang, China) and his Masters Degree of Medicine in Acupuncture & Qigong from China Academy of Traditional Chinese Medicine (Beijing, China). He is one of the 1st rounds of graduates, both in China and around the world to receive the Master's Degree of Medicine in this Qi Gong Program.
Dr. Wu has served as an executive member of The World Federation of Acupuncture & Moxibustion Societies (WFAS), as vice president of Educational Instruction Committee of World Federation of Chinese Medicine Societies (WFCMS), and as president of Wu's Head Massage International Association
Dr. Wu is the president of the Ontario College of Traditional Chinese Medicine, in Toronto. He is an instructor at CCATCM.
